Mop & Save Cleaning Services offers flexible options for every home, from weekly standard maintenance to detailed deep cleaning and full move-in/move-out preparation. We also understand that choosing the right service or understanding pricing can be confusing, so this FAQ section explains what’s included in each type of cleaning and helps you pick the best option for your needs. 

Standard cleaning is best for homes that are already in good condition and just need regular maintenance: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, kitchen and bathroom wipe-downs, and general tidying.
Deep cleaning is recommended if your home has built-up dust, grease, hard-to-reach areas that haven’t been cleaned in a while, or if you want a more detailed scrub before guests or after a busy season. It includes everything in a Standard Cleaning plus extra attention to baseboards, vents, corners, grout, kitchen degreasing, and detailed bathroom work. If you’re unsure, we usually recommend Deep Cleaning for the first visit and Standard for maintenance afterward. 

Standard Cleaning includes:

• Dusting accessible surfaces
• Wiping furniture tops and décor
• Vacuuming carpets, rugs and floors
• Mopping hard floors
• Light organizing and tidying
• Emptying trash bins
• Making beds
• Wiping exterior surfaces of kitchen appliances
• Microwave (inside & outside)
• Cleaning countertops & backsplash
• Wiping cabinet exteriors
• Full bathroom cleaning (sinks, toilets, showers, tubs)
• Mirrors, faucets & handles
• Standard wash of bathroom walls
• Light spot cleaning on switches & high-touch areas

Available as Extras (not included in Standard Cleaning):
inside oven, inside fridge, inside kitchen cabinets, inside drawers, blinds cleaning, inside windows, full wall washing, extreme buildup removal. 

Deep Cleaning includes everything in Standard plus:

• Deep scrubbing of all surfaces
• Baseboards & vents cleaning
• High-touch areas throughout the home
• Degreasing kitchen surfaces
• Range hood (exterior & underside)
• Extra scrubbing in bathrooms (soap scum, buildup)
• Cleaning corners, edges, and hard-to-reach areas
• Detailed dusting (shelves, décor, ceiling fans)
• Enhanced polishing of mirrors, faucets, hardware
• More grout attention
• Wall spot cleaning
• Microwave (inside & outside)
• Dishwasher (door & interior walls)

Available as Extras (not included in Deep Cleaning):
inside oven, inside fridge, inside kitchen cabinets, inside drawers, blinds cleaning, inside windows, full wall washing, extreme buildup removal. 

Both are top-to-bottom detailed cleanings.

Move-In/Move-Out adds:
• Inside appliances
• Inside cabinets & drawers (always extras)
• Behind appliances if light and movable
• Full empty-home detailing

If an appliance is on wheels, we can move it.
If heavy or built-in, we ask the customer to move it — and we clean everything once it’s moved.
